Class meets the first Sunday of the month, February through June 2012, from 10am until 5pm
Cost: $300
This intensive class will teach you the skills needed to identify wild plants through hands-on education, field study, and lecture-style coursework. Topics include understanding plant parts and descriptions, overview of botanical classification, distinguishing characteristics of important medicinal plant families, and basic ethical wildcrafting. The class meets monthly for a total of 5 sessions. Morning's are taught in the classroom and afternoon are in the field.
