In this 400-hour course in clinical herbal studies and treatment strategies, students will begin to work in and learn how to run an herbal clinic. Students will see clients, make herbal assessments, prepare and formulate herbal products, and evaluate client progress. The student clinic is a busy facility, servicing up to 125 clients per month.
In addition to gaining clinical hours, students will learn basic record keeping, some business accounting, budgeting, scheduling, advertising and the fundamentals of running a successful practice. Interns will learn teaching techniques and will teach a workshop or herbal class.
