This course focuses on understanding the uses of medicinal mushrooms and distinguishing between different species -- such as reishi, chaga, turkey tails, maitake, and beyond -- for the apothecary or home use. This class will cover the theory and practice of using mushrooms in medicine and in the kitchen, and how to prepare mushrooms for the most potent, effective medicine.
